FRACINO CYBERCINO

UK Coffee machine manufacturer Fracino needed a premium finish for their new coffee maker, the Cybercino. A retro style appearance and is a fully automated machine which works at fast speeds with the ease and efficiency of innovative bean-to-cup technology.

This project, one of our more exciting and unusual portfolio pieces, involved applying a black Corian-like speckled effect to a large number of plastic fascia’s and bases.

The skills of the coating and R&D teams were certainly put to the test, although the impressive end results were well worth the effort.

The process works by using both paint splatter and a lower-percentage lacquer to give a slightly matted effect at a fraction of the cost of real Corian material.
